FAQ

How many cards fit in the EXENTRI Wallet?
The EXENTRI Wallet has 6 separate card pockets with space for several cards in each inner pocket. The Wallet also has a separate compartment for notes, receipts and tickets. Please note: We recommend that the outer pockets only hold one card each, to prevent that the leather in the outer pockets becomes too wide to hold just one card, since the leather will expand if one have more than one card in the outer pockets.
What is RFID block?
RFID is short for Radio Frequency Identification. The RFID block technology in the EXENTRI Wallets protects your credit cards against skimming (electronic pickpocketing) and private data theft. Today many cards contain a chip and an antenna for wireless communication. With this technology you can make payments without physical contact between the card and the terminal using NFC (Near Field Communication). Unfortunately, the downside is that cards with RFID technology could potentially be read by someone with a device equipped with NFC technology from a distance. This reading device could potentially read your cards through your clothes and wallet. This way a dishonest person could perhaps scan your personal information by placing him/herself close to your wallet, without you even knowing. For that reason, the EXENTRI Wallets contain a RFID block nylon to ensure that your private information and credit cards are safe.
Where is the RFID block situated?
The EXENTRI Wallet has RFID block nylon sewn in underneath the exterior leather on both outer sides of the wallet, and also underneath the leather in pocket nr 3, which is the first pocket on the right side when you first open the wallet. The three inner pockets are without RFID block nylon, but when the wallet is closed, all the inside cards are RFID blocked. Tested by the Euro Lab for International Transaction Technologies (Elitt).

I bought my EXENTRI Wallet a few years ago. How do I know if my wallet has RFID block?
If you are in doubt if your EXENTRI Wallet contains RFID block, please check if the wallet has the text "RFID block" written on the inside leather (under the EXENTRI® logo and Genuine leather text).

What materials are the EXENTRI Wallets made of?
The EXENTRI Wallets are made of quality materials. High quality cow hide leather, lined with nylon to optimize the cards sliding movement. All models contain a stainless steel plate for stability and endurance.

Where are EXENTRI Wallets produced?
The EXENTRI Wallets are made in China, under good working conditions and with attention to the environment. Designed in Norway.

The locking device is too wide. What can I do?
The locking device can be adjusted. If it is too wide, then simply press the locking device part nr. 1 (with logo) slightly downwards/inwards. You can do this by pressing hard with your thumb or press it against a hard surface. Even a very small adjustment will make the locking device tighter.
It is also possible to adjust the small locking device part nr. 2 if needed, as it is a steel rod that can be bent. Pushing the steel rod slightly upwards (from underneath), will help it interact more closely with part nr. 1.

How can I best care for my EXENTRI leather wallet?
The EXENTRI Wallets are crafted with high-quality leather and should look good and work well for a very long time. If you treat the product with care you will enjoy it for many years.
We recommend that the wallets do not be kept in back pockets of pants. To maintain the appearance of the leather, keep it dry, limit exposure to direct heat or wet surfaces and avoid chemical cleaners. Clean with a soft dry cloth.
Like all leather materials there can be marks after impressions from various objects. It is recommended that one keep items such as keys away from the wallet in order to avoid markings on the leather.
You could apply any leather care product to the leather to even out the surface from marks or simply to add more moisture to the leather. The leather will darken somewhat from this treatment.

The outer pockets seem to be too wide. What can I do?
If you insert more cards in the inner pockets, the wallet and all the pockets will get tighter. If you insert more paper in the paper compartment, the wallet and all the pockets will get tighter. You could also tighten the locking device by pressing the locking device part nr. 1 (with logo) slightly downwards/inwards. You can do this by pressing hard with your thumb or press it against a hard surface. Even a very small adjustment will give off a big result in making the locking device tighter.
It is also possible to adjust the locking device part nr 2 if needed, as it is a steel rod that can be bent. Pushing the steel rod slightly upwards (from underneath), will help it interact more closely with part nr 1.

It is difficult to push out the cards. What can I do?
When pushing out cards from the outer pockets using your thumb, one should press slightly downwards and then outwards in one continuing movement. It is important that the thumb get a good grip towards the card, so if your thumb is very dry, it would help a lot with a little moisture on your thumb. Also consider how much goods are inside the wallet, as the pockets will be tighter if it contains a lot of material. Less goods inside will mean that the pockets are looser, and thus easier to push cards out from the outer pockets.
